KLAM (Korean Life Scientist Association of Maryland) is a non-profit, officially registered organization of Korean scientists in life sciences and biotechnology in Maryland. We have members from Johns Hopkins Univeristy, University of Maryland, NIH, and any other institutes in Maryland.

We aim to share research with collaborators and provide various resources for career development for extraordinary early career researchers in Maryland area.

OUR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

  • Monthly seminars with scientific talks from members
  • Annual conference with guest speakers
  • Hosting special seminars for career development, job fair, and immigration law, etc
  • Scientific outreach activities around Baltimore area
  • BBQs and other social get-togethers
